YEREVAN. - The Inquiry Committee for Investigation of Possible Corruption Risks at Yerevan Municipality has been set up in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia. Parliament Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan said this on December 5, in the NA.
In his words, in accordance with the NA Rules of Procedure and the Constitutional Law, this committee was created at the request of not less than one-fourth of the total number of deputies.
The committee will investigate and review the legality of the conveyance of transport vehicles and other property to Yerevan Municipality, as well as the contracts for the servicing and handing of immovable or movable property, including ownership, construction permits, etc.
