YEREVAN. – There has been a positive change in the health condition of officer Rafayel Azizyan, wounded by Azerbaijani shooting on November 29, in Artsakh. Armenia’s Deputy Defense Minister Gabriel Balayan said this at a press conference today.

"There is quite positive dynamics," he said. “Several surgeries have been performed; we are waiting for the next surgery. I think we'll be able to talk to him soon."

But Balayan added that the health condition of the conscript remains extremely critical.

Artsakh Defense Army serviceman Rafayel Azizyan (born in 1997) had sustained a gunshot wound from the adversary’s shooting toward a Defense Army military unit in a northeasterly direction.
