YEREVAN. – The National Assembly has fully adopted the new approach to zoning proposed by the Cadaster Committee, and we are now discussing how to reflect it in the tax system. Armenia’s Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan stated this at a press conference today, referring to the initiative to tax wealth in the country.

"We are going to follow a logical path, there will be public discussions," he said. “It is envisaged that the new approach to property tax will be implemented as of 2021. Until then, we will have the opportunity to reflect in detail on how to tax wealth; that’s the right way."
