When the Armenian Prime Ministe Nikol Pashinyan enthusiastically declares that over the past 1.5 years Armenia has purchased an unprecedented amount of weapons, which is not true, the Azerbaijani side can use it against us, military expert Karen Vrtanesyan told reporters on Monday.
According to him, the actual volume of purchases will not be disclosed for obvious reason.
He noted that the modernization of the army, the improvement of weapons are positive phenomena, but there is no need to make unfounded statements, since Azerbaijan can say that Armenia is buying an unprecedented amount of weapons and is going to attack us.
Earlier, the PM announced that Armenia has acquired an unprecedented amount of armaments, weapons, ammunition since May 2018.
