YEREVAN. – This legislative package proposes that owners of structures and buildings pay the residential building management body in a non-cash way through their bank account the mandatory as well as other fixed payments, as required by this law. Vagharshak Hakobyan, a member of the ruling My Step bloc, said this at the December 9 sitting of the National Assembly of Armenia during the discussion of the legislative package on making amendments and supplements to the law on the management of residential buildings and related laws.

According to the author of this legislative initiative, with the passage of this legislative package, the condominium members' responsibilities will be increased and an effective system of distribution of state funds will be created.

He assured that the amendments would also be aimed at enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the payment process for the owners of other structures and building, while respecting all mandatory norms.
