YEREVAN. – Hraparak newspaper of Armenia writes: According to our information, former director of the National Security Service—and ex-President of the Football Federation of Armenia—Artur Vanetsyan has registered a fund in the State Register of the Ministry of Justice a few days ago.
The founders of the “Homeland” Development Foundation are [Police] Major General Artur Vanetsyan, head of YSU [Yerevan State University] Chair of Iranian Studies, Candidate of Science Vardan Voskanyan, and head of YSU Chair of Applied Sociology, Doctor of Political Science Artur Atanesyan.
The purpose of the foundation is to support the establishment of civil society [in Armenia].
