The results of the “Children’s Rights Through My Eyes” photo/video contest (organized by the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) with the support of members of the Board of Trustees of Tufenkian Foundation Judith and Victor Sarians) were summed up today, reports the Office of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh.

The Ombudsman congratulated everyone on the three celebrations of human rights, including Human Rights Day, Constitution Day of the Republic of Artsakh and the day of the referendum for the Independence of the Republic of Artsakh.

“On this symbolic day, we are summing up the results of the contest, with the satisfaction that quite a lot of children participated in the context, exploring their rights and presenting them through their creativity. We can state the fact that hundreds of people had submitted applications, and thousands had followed the course of the contest. The important thing is that the children had the opportunity to present their rights and problems through their eyes. Dear children, I thank you all and am proud of you. I am certain that our future lies in good hands,” Beglaryan said.
