The National Security Service has exposed corruption by the head of surgical department at the Martuni town medical center in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia.
In particular, it was found that from 2017 to 2019, the aforesaid individual had personally requested and taken large amount of bribes from a number of persons seeking medical assistance.
A criminal case has been launched.
An investigation is underway.
