YEREVAN. – Armenian police will keep video data for three months and audio and video data for two years, deputy police chief Tigran Yesayan said during the debates on introducing amendments to the law on police.

“We plan to spend 208 million drams [around $435 thousand]for the full introduction of this system,” he said.

The draft bill that suggested installing surveillance cameras at police departments was unanimously adopted by the parliament.
