YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes: According to Zhoghovurd daily, the NA inquiry committee that investigates the legality, reasonableness, and credibility of financial and other reports submitted to the executive authorities and accepted by them within the framework of investment programs in the metal mining industry is going to make disclosures in the near future.

According to our information, this will be related to the financial expenses of Lydian Armenia company; the company was to operate the Amulsar [gold] mine. According to our sources, the committee has studied the documents, which, it turns out, clearly shows that the company incurred unnecessary production costs. "If Lydian Armenia considers that it has invested 4 hundred billion drams, we need to understand where those investments were made and with what efficiency. We should carry out these and similar studies,” said the chairman of the committee Sergey Bagratyan in an interview with Zhoghovurd daily.
