Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has reacted to the US Senate's adoption of the resolution recognizing Armenian Genocide.

“US Senate Res 150 unanimously adopted is a decisive step in serving justice, truth and recognition of Armenian Genocide,” Mnatsakanyan wrote on Twitter. “We are overwhelmed with appreciation. A tribute to the victims and their dignity. Thank you Senator Menendez, Sen Ted Cruz & all members of US Senate!”

On December 12, the US Senate unanimously adopted Resolution 150 recognizing and condemning Armenian Genocide. Earlier, such a resolution was passed also by the US House of Representatives.
