Former US Vice President Joe Biden tweeted on Senate adoption of Armenian Genocide Resolution.

“I applaud the Senate's landmark legislation formally recognizing the Armenian Genocide. If we don't fully acknowledge the past, “never again” loses its meaning. The facts must be as clear and as powerful for future generations as for those whose memories are seared by tragedy,” Biden tweeted.

As reported earlier, the U.S. Senate approved unanimous consent request on the adoption of S.Res.150 recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

Senators Robert Menendez and Ted Cruz presented the resolution for the fourth time, and this time it was not objected by any of the senators. Earlier attempts were blocked by the Senators at the request of the White House. In October the House adopted resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
