One person has died after a road accident in Yerevan today.

At around 12:10am, a car hit a pedestrian, Yerevan resident Vahan Sh., 54, at a Yerevan intersection, shamshyan.com reports.

The driver did not flee, called an ambulance, and assisted the doctors who arrived at the scene to transport the injured to the hospital.

Hours later, a call was received from hospital that the injured had died without regaining consciousness.

The driver, Yerevan resident Gagik B., 23, serves at military unit of the Republic of Armenia.
