YEREVAN. – Our goal is not to reach only two destinations from the Yerevan airport. Andras Rado, Corporate Communications Manager of Wizz Air budget airline, stated this at a press conference today.

Earlier he mentioned that Wizz Air will operate flights between Yerevan, Vienna, and Vilnius from April 2020, and the airline ticket prices will start from 24.99 euros.

According to Rado, in Armenia they will compete with Austrian Airlines as they also fly to Vienna. He said this is good for both passengers and them, and as a result, one should strive to be better, with higher quality.

He added that they have no fixed prices, and their prices are based on demand. For example, he noted that all April 20 tickets to Vienna had already been sold.

In his words, they do not have a "highest price" concept, as this depends on how many tickets are purchased, and they have an algorithm that oversees prices.
