Lydian Armenia has sued member of the secretariat of Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian Party Gevorg Safaryan, reports Datalex Judicial Information System.

Lydian Armenia demands obliging Safaryan to refute data deemed to be slander, compensate for statements discrediting business reputation and levy the amount of the previously paid state duty.

The reason for the lawsuit is the interview that Gevorg Safaryan gave to irakanum.am medium under the title “The authorities need to reveal the corruption transactions in which Lydian Armenia has been involved” on November 13.

In that interview, Safaryan said Lydian Armenia and the former authorities have received permits for exploitation of mines through illegal transactions and will do everything they can to exploit the mine.

The case has been inscribed to Judge Mekhak Gevorgyan of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk Province.
