An Armenian police department has instituted a criminal case under the case of embezzlement connected with former President of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan, and the Investigative Committee of Armenia has received the case and accepted it for proceedings. This is what Head of Department and Public Relations Division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Naira Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A criminal case has been instituted under articles of the Criminal Code related to official negligence that carelessly caused grave consequences), embezzlement in large amounts, falsification of documents by a group of person and misuse of powers by commercial or other organizations.

On December 13, police officers conducted searches in Ruben Hayrapetyan’s house.
