The Special Investigation Service of Armenia did not comment on the news of the face-to-face talk between third President Serzh Sargsyan and former Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan.

Businessman Barsegh Beglaryan, also charged with the same criminal case, also had had a face-to-face talk Karapetyan.

The news of this face-to-face talk is disseminated by Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

A criminal charged has been brought against Serzh Sargsyan. According to the respective investigative body, holding the office of the President of the Republic of Armenia in 2013, Sargsyan used his official position and organized a group of officials to steal 489, 160, 310 drams from the state. A signature bond to not leave Armenia has been selected as a pretrial measure against him.
