London police have charged the citizen of Poland with preparing a terrorist attack, TASS reported referring to a message distributed by Scotland Yard.

The man, 25, who lives in BLuton, has been charged with collecting information that may be useful to a person committing or preparing a terrorist attack”, as well as “making or possessing explosives when causing suspicion of circumstances.

The police said that the man detained on December 11 in Luton, located north of the British capital, did not pose a direct threat to the public. On Wednesday, he will appear before a judge of the Magistrates Court of London.
