YEREVAN. – Any thinking, conscious person sees that despite being in prison cell, Robert Kocharyan is in active politics today. Aghvan Vardanyan, coordinator of the freedom committee for Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan, said this at a press conference today.

"You see Kocharyan's public speeches and interviews," Vardanyan emphasized. “And anyone with an eye and an ear will see that his assessments (...) are, in a very broad sense, the views of an experienced politician. He is in fact illegally deprived of the possibility of other kinds of daily contact.

But it is clear that he is in politics, and today he is one of the key figures dictating the policy agenda."
