The Kremlin agrees with the statement of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces on preparing NATO for a full-blown conflict, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to the chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, the scenarios of NATO’s intense military exercises indicate a targeted preparation of the alliance for a large-scale military conflict.

“But the fact that the expansion of NATO’s military infrastructure towards our borders continues to cause concern is not a secret, it’s also well known,” he said.
