YEREVAN. – At its session today, the government of Armenia granted a tax break to two companies.

In particular, it was decided to approve the petition by ASEDL company to benefit from the exemption from customs duty on imports of equipment, raw materials, and materials imported under the investment project in the priority area.

The justification of the government’s respective decision states, in particular, that energy-efficient glass processing will be implemented in Armenia for the first time.

It is envisaged to invest 870 million drams within the framework of the program.

By another decision, the government also approved a similar petition by the GRP SYSTEMS company.

Products imported by this company will be used for the manufacture of glass fiber pipes in Kotayk Province.

An investment of 4.8bn drams has already been made, and an investment of 10.7bn drams is planned within the framework of the program.
