Ukrainian Armenians expressed gratitude for the US Senate’s adoption of the resolution recognizing Armenian Genocide, AnalitikaUA.net reports.
Their respective "We Thank You" rally was held on December 18, outside the US Embassy in Kyiv.
Also, the rally participants formally submitted the letter of gratitude by the Union of Armenians of Ukraine.
According to the press service of the union, the message reads as follows, in particular: "We express our deepest gratitude to the US Senate for unanimously recognizing the tragedy of the Armenian people, and look forward to future cooperation. We are confident that this courageous step will play an important role both in the lives of Armenians and for the entire world."
