YEREVAN. – Former judge Samvel Uzunyan has left Armenia and has been declared wanted. Arevik Khachatryan, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, told about this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

She informed that on the evening of December 20, Uzunyan was included as an accused in an ongoing criminal case, and the respective decision was sent to the Special Investigation Service in order to bring charges against him and to select his pretrial measure.

Arrest was chosen as his pretrial measure.

But Uzunyan left Armenia at the time of submitting and discussing the petitions, and a decision was made to declare him wanted.
