Iran is ready for any scenarios for the development of the situation around the Iranian deal if European countries engage a mechanism that could lead to the restoration of sanctions against Tehran, said Iran’s official spokesman Ali Rabei said.

According to him, Iran is still interested in preserving the nuclear deal and the position on this issue has not changed, RIA Novosti reported.

Speaking of 'threats' from European countries to engage a dispute resolution mechanism in a nuclear deal that could lead to the restoration of sanctions against Iran, he said they are ready for any scenario.

For the first time, Tehran abandoned a number of nuclear restrictions on the anniversary of the US withdrawing from the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program - Washington left the deal on May 8, 2018, Tehran responded exactly a year later, which it called 'strategic patience.' The third stage began on September 6: then Iran announced that it had started working with a number of centrifuges, without limiting itself in the field of nuclear research and development to the provisions of the Iranian deal.
