On December 20, the IMF Executive Board has completed the first review of Armenia's performance under the Stand-By Arrangement.
In this regard, the Central Bank of Armenia said in a statement that the Armenian authorities are continuing to view this loan arrangement until its expiration on May 16, 2021 as precautionary, and they do not plan on using it unless balance of payment issues arise due to unforeseen economic shocks.
This 36-month loan program totals SDR 180 million (about US$248.2 million).
