Weightlifter, trainer, Olympic champion Oksen Mirzoyan has joined the statement to commute the precautionary measure of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan. Ara Vardanyan, former Executive Director of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, wrote about this on Facebook.

"The legend of Armenian sport has joined the apolitical statement about commuting the precautionary measure of Artsakh's first and Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan," the post reads, in particular. “At the Seoul Olympics in 1988, there were no fakes to ask how to lift the giant bar. Now, he may not be interested in the fakes’ attack against the signatories of the statement.
