At least 90 people killed as a truck full of explosives was blown up Saturday morning in the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu, Reuters reported

The truck was blown up at the southwestern checkpoint, which is one of the largest in Mogadishu. According to the mayor of Mogadishu Omar Finnish, there are many students among the victims. They were in the bus, which was at the epicenter of the explosion.

Somali PM Hassan Ali Khayre said he is canceling his trip as part of the election campaign to the state of Galmudug and remains in the capital for operational management of the situation.

None of the terrorist groups has claimed responsibility for the current blast. However, according to BBC, in Somalia they think Al-Shabab is an organization involved in the attack.
