ETCHMIADZIN. – A requiem service to mark the 30th anniversary of the Armenian pogroms in Baku and Sumgait will take place on January 19 at the St. Gayane Monastery Church in Etchmiadzin, the press service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reported.
The requiem service will be offered at the end of the Divine Liturgy, presided over by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
The Divine Liturgy will begin at 11am.
