Revelation of the circumstances of the death of former director of the National Security Service of Armenia Georgi Kutoyan is a matter of honor for the country’s law-enforcement authorities. This is what former member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, president of Healthy Society NGO Marina Khachatryan told reporters today, adding that it is necessary to lead the probe comprehensively.

“What horrified me was the public’s reaction. I am also concerned about the reactions of certain citizens, including the threats they made. People need to understand that their children see that and are brought up in that atmosphere of hatred, and the current authorities are mainly the ones to blame for this growing hatred,” she said.

On January 17, the body of former director of the National Security Service of Armenia Georgi Kutoyan was found in Yerevan.
