Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Italian Republic were held in Yerevan today. The Armenian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Avet Adonts, and the Italian delegation — by Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy Elisabetta Belloni, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

During the consultations, the interlocutors discussed a broad range of issues on the Armenian-Italian political agenda and touched upon Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Italy in November, the meetings and agreements, as well as the reciprocal visits of high-ranking officials.

At the end, Elisabetta Belloni was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed several global and regional issues, the latest developments and the positions of Italy and Armenia on those issues.
