YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hopes that the death of ex-head of the National Security Service Georgi Kutoyan would be fully investigated.

The Prime Minister also recalled that the criminal case was opened on charges of “incitement to suicide”. Pashinyan noted that Kutoyan’s family is most concerned party, and urged them to actively cooperate with the investigation so that the truth would be revealed.

“I guarantee that the government will use all possible levers to solve the case,” Pashinyan emphasized.

The body of Georgi Kutoyan was discovered on January 17 in his apartment in Yerevan. According to investigators, George Kutoyan shot himself from his pistol.
