Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia Ruben Vardazaryan and Council member Vigen Kocharyan today received the delegation led by Head of Unit of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Eastern Partnership of the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission Vassilis Maragos, as reported the Media and Public Relations Service of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Greeting the guests, the Council’s chairman attached importance to the effective, open and direct cooperation with international organizations to make implementation of the complex programs for judicial and legal reforms more fruitful.

Expressing gratitude to the Council for the reception, Maragos asked about the current process of judicial and legal reforms, and Vardazaryan noted that the Council is interested in ensuring effectiveness of the reforms and is taking all the necessary actions for that.

Issues related to technical support for e-justice, the need for rapid introduction of e-justice and ease of workload of courts were also discussed during the meeting.
