The number of confirmed cases of pneumonia in China caused by the new type of coronavirus 2019-nCoV increased on Friday to 849 people, the number of deaths increased to 26. This follows from information messages published by the Chinese regions hygiene and public health committees.

To date, two fatalities have already been recorded outside the original region of the spread of the disease - one in Hebei Province and another in Suihua City.

According to data on Friday morning, the condition of 177 patients is assessed as serious, 34 people have been cured and have already left medical facilities. 1072 suspected cases have also been reported.

Coronovirus infections have been reported in Japan and South Korea.
