This bill proposes to make payment of property tax mandatory during purchase and sale of real estate. This is what co-author of the bill on making amendments and supplements to the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On property tax” Gevorg Papoyan declared during a discussion on the bill at the National Assembly today.

According to him, it is expected to make sure a buyer lacking knowledge of the law and acquiring real estate and with property tax doesn’t pay the property tax after adoption of the law. Papoyan added that the bill will allow to increase the budgets of communities through simplified management.
