Bulgaria has declared two Russian diplomats as persona non grata, and a relevant note has been delivered to the Ambassador of Russia in Sofia, reports RIA Novosti, citing the statement by the diplomatic representation.

The statement states that Bulgaria hasn’t submitted any evidence showing that the diplomats have carried out activity in the country that is incompatible with their status.

The Russian embassy added that Moscow reserves itself the right to take response measures for expulsion.
