Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Shavarsh Kocharyan today had a working meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Lasha Darsalia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, reports the news department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the agenda, mentioned with satisfaction the positive course of implementation of the provisions stated in the Minutes of the 10th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Georgia and underscored the importance of implementation of joint projects in the energy and transport sectors and deepening of cooperation in the tourism, humanitarian and other sectors.

On the same day, the Georgian deputy foreign minister was received by Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. During the meeting, the Armenian foreign minister emphasized the significant progress that has been recorded in the relations between Georgia and Armenia, attaching importance to the implementation of the agreements reached between the leaders of Georgia and Armenia. In this context, the parties positively assessed the atmosphere of the direct and effective cooperation established between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
