On the occasion of Armenian Army Day, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian signed a decree on awarding a group of servicemen and freedom fighters. The decree is posted on the official website of the President of Armenia (PHOTOS).

“Accepting as a basis the petition of the Prime Minister, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of Article 5.3 of the Law “On state awards and honorary titles of the Republic of Armenia”:

A group of servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and freedom fighters shall be awarded on the occasion of Army Day and for their contributions to homeland defense and for their courage and dedication shown during military service.”
