The administrative court has accepted the lawsuit of the lawyer of the Armenian second president Robert Kocharyan Aram Vardevanyan against the Justice Ministry.

The lawsuit consideration will be chaired by Judge Ani Harutyunyan, the lawyer Aram Vardevanyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am.

Aram Vardevanyan appealed to the administrative court against the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, demanding that his petition for initiating disciplinary proceedings against the judges of the Appeal Criminal Court of Armenia Armen Danielyan and Mher Argamanyan be given due course.

Back in 2019, the lawyer of the second President of Armenia turned to the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan with a request to bring the judge Armen Danielyan to disciplinary liability.

On June 25, 2019, Judge Armen Danielyan overturned the decision of the court of first instance, canceling the personal guarantee under which the second president was earlier released and applied the arrest. By another decision, Judge A. Danielyan quashed the decision of the court of first instance on appealing to the Constitutional Court and suspending the proceedings.

Judge Mher Argamanyan upheld the decision of Judge Anna Danibekyan dated September 17, by which Danibekyan rejected the motion to cancel the arrest as a preventive measure against the second president.
