Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today had a meeting with US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Lynne Tracy and Commander of the Kansas Army National Guard, Major General Lee Tafanelli.
The Prime Minister attached importance to the US-Armenia cooperation in the defense sector and welcomed the army general’s visit to Armenia, especially during the days marking the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army.
Nikol Pashinyan added that the Armenian government is interested in raising the level of cooperation and expressed confidence that Tafanelli’s visit would contribute to that.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the US-Armenia cooperation in the defense sector and other sectors.
