Co-founder of the opposition Adekvad party Artur Danielyan has been released. He told reporters that he had been apprehended on suspicion of acquiring, keeping or using narcotics.

“I was apprehended on my way to the police station to find out why Narek Malyan had been apprehended. The police officers assumed that I had purchased a narcotic drug and was coming to find out what had happened to Narek Malyan at the police station,” Danielyan said, adding that his apprehension was another show.

“I would like to apologize to those who heard the indecent statement that I made. After answering your questions, I will be going to the hospital to undergo a checkup. My hand is numb.”

Officers of the General Department of Criminal Police today apprehended co-founders of the opposition Adekvad party Artur Danielyan and Konstantin Ter-Nakalyan and members Grigor Minasyan and Azat Adamyan. Earlier, we reported that Narek Malyan, head of the VETO public-political movement, was apprehended on suspicion of possession or carrying of illegal weapons.

A short while ago, Narek Malyan and Konstantin Ter-Nakalyan were also released.
