Currently, Kotayk Province has four fully operating slaughterhouses. This is what Governor of Kotayk Province Romanos Petrosyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“A short while ago, I convened an enlarged working meeting with head of the Kotayk regional center of the Food Safety Inspection Body Davit Ghazaryan.

The following issues were on the agenda:

-mapping of companies providing slaughterhouse services in Kotayk Province according to regions;

-guidance and support for investors wishing to establish companies providing slaughterhouse services in the Kotayk Province.

With regard to the first issue, I would like to inform that there are currently four fully operating slaughterhouses in Kotayk Province.”
