I have visited the National Assembly for years and have always visited the parliamentary speaker as an official. This is what former defense minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told reporters at the National Assembly today, touching upon his meeting with members of the parliamentary committee for probe into the circumstances behind the Four-Day Artsakh War of April 2016 and the meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.

“As a sign of courtesy, I asked for a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly as well. We talked about the current state of affairs in Armenia and other topics. I didn’t discuss any political issue. This was a courtesy visit,” he said.
