On the evening of January 25, the Baghramyan police station received an alarm according to which there were armed persons at the Yervandashat-Bagaran station in Armavir Province. The police officers of the Baghramyan police station, officers of the National Security Service of Armenia and of the border guard unit of the Russian Federation found out that the 25-year-old and 27-year-old residents of Yervandashat village had entered a controlled area with illegal rifles and guns for illegal hunting.

When they were noticed, they left the weapons and escaped. The police detected the guns and seized them for future operations. The young men were apprehended from the turnpike and taken to the Baghramyan police station, presented to the territorial investigative division and arrested. A forensic ballistic expert examination has been designated, and preliminary investigation of the instituted criminal case continues.
