The Mayilyan and New Artsakh Parties have formed an alliance. This is what Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Masis Mayilyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“On January 29, the administrative bodies of three political parties of Artsakh, including the Ramkavar Liberal Party of Artsakh, Identity and Unity Party and Artsakh of Tomorrow Party, held a joint session at Europe Hotel in Stepanakert and discussed the formation of a pre-election alliance.

During the joint session, the administrative bodies of the three political parties reaffirmed the stances of their respective political parties’ congresses and formed the Mayilyan-New Artsakh pre-election alliance which will support Masis Mayilyan during the upcoming presidential elections. Masis Mayilyan will also be the first on the alliance’s proportional list during the parliamentary elections.

During the session, representatives of the three political parties gave speeches in which they attached importance to the role and significance of the upcoming nationwide elections in the formation of a qualitatively new government to resist the internal and external challenges facing the country, the improvement of public life and the solution to the current issues related to the protection of citizens’ rights and within the state.

Mayilyan expressed his greetings to the participants of the session and expressed his deep gratitude for the great trust. Mayilyan added that he hopes there is close cooperation with different layers of society in Artsakh and individuals and public figures who enjoy the trust and respect of the public.
