The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Morocco has declared that it has disarmed one of the cells of ISIS and detained its members who were planning terrorist acts in the country, reports RIA Novosti.

According to information, the members of the group were funded by ISIS, which had planned terrorist acts in Morocco and was aspiring to “create an Emirate of the Islamic State in the country”.

In 2019, Morocco’s forces disarmed 14 similar cells.
