Earlier attempts to overcome the Palestinian-Israeli conflict have failed, and the international community needs to demonstrate determination and new creative approaches to this problem, said US President Donald Trump in his State of the Union address.

The head of the US administration noted that on January 28, Washington announced its new settlement plan in the Middle East, which is also called the "deal of the century."

"Last week, I announced a groundbreaking plan for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Recognizing that all past attempts have failed, we must be determined and creative in order to stabilize the region and give millions of young people the chance to realize a better future," he said.
