Iran has been working on space capsules for astronauts, said Iranian minister of information and communications technology Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi.

According to him, they have instructed the research center of the miinstry of sciences to develop five space capsules for Iran in three years to bring a person into 190-kilometer orbit, RIA Novosti reported refering to ISNA.

Earlier, Minister said Iran intends to send its astronaut into space, but Tehran will need the help of other countries. The head of the Iranian space agency Morteza Barari said about the talks with the Russian side on the sending his astronaut to the International Space Station.
