YEREVAN. – An investigative team has been set up at the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia for the case that was separated from the criminal case on the deadly parliament attack on October 27, 1999.. This was reported to Armenpress by the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Thus, the prosecutor's office partially granted the petition of Anahit Bakhshyan, a legal successor of a victim along the lines of the October 27 case, in which she had requested the establishment of an investigative team for the separated case, too.

As to Bakhshyan's other petition requesting the transfer of this criminal case from the NSS to the Special Investigation Service, the prosecutor's office stated that it had been denied.
