From February 4 to 7, the delegation led by Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan is in The Hague, and the first meeting was held with President of Eurojust Ladislav Hamran today.

The minister informed his counterpart about the latest developments and reforms agenda in the justice sector in Armenia, particularly the directions of the strategies for judicial and legal reforms and the anti-corruption strategy.

The president of Eurojust presented the organization’s functions and discussed with Minister Badasyan specific issues related to the expansion and deepening of cooperation, especially for the purpose of returning illegal assets.

The parties also underscored the importance of the fight against transnational crime and touched upon the preparation for the signing of an agreement on cooperation with Eurojust.
