We see rather serious and disputed provisions. This is what secretary of the Prosperous Armenia faction of the National Assembly Arman Abovyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am today, touching upon the draft amendments to the Constitution by which the My Step faction offers to terminate the terms of the judges of the Constitutional Court who were elected prior to April 9, 2018.

“The Prosperous Armenia faction has already expressed its stance, that is, all the procedures need to be exclusively in the legal field and there should not be any doubt that the procedures are legal. This is why we voted against the introduction of these issues in the agenda. We see rather, better yet, very serious and disputed provisions. We will see how the discussion proceeds tomorrow,” Abovyan said.
